This year’s Gumball 3000 will soon end when its participants hit the west coast. Kicked-off last week in New York City’s Times Square, this year’s lineup of speedy vehicles includes Aston Martins, Ferraris, Local Motors Rally Fighters, a Morgan Motors open-air 3-wheeler and Lamborghinis.
Though the rally that in many ways honors the iconic Cannonball Run (Google it kids) is not officially a race, it does have a timekeeper and mile counter. With its location changing every year, the Gumball 3000 has graced the roads and highways of Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas. Past drivers have included Reggie Bush, Tony Hawk and Dennis Rodman. This year David Hasselhoff is the event’s main faded star.
